Iraqi Forces Find Islamic State Missiles In West Mosul
Officers in the Iraqi forces said on Wednesday (March 15) that over 20 Islamic State (ISIS) missiles had been found in a warehouse in west Mosul.
The Counter Terrorism Services in al Somood neighbourhood in southwest Mosul brought showed samples of the missiles found earlier in the old Industrial area.
Amid the combat, a steady stream of refugees trudged out of the western districts, carrying suitcases, bottles of water and other possessions. Some pushed children and sick elderly relatives in handcarts and wheelbarrows.
As many as 600,000 civilians are caught with the militants inside Mosul, which Iraqi forces have effectively sealed off from the remaining territory that ISIS controls in Iraq and Syria. The Iraqi forces include army, special forces, Peshmerga and Shia militias.
