Iraq Generates $4.5 Billion from Oil Exports in August
The Iraqi government generated over $4.5 billion from oil revenue exports during the month of August, Ministry of Oil reported on Saturday (September 2).
An average of 3.216 million barrels of oil has been exported per a day in August from 3.230 million bpd in July. No shipments were made from the northern Kirkuk field.
One barrel of oil was sold for more than $46.22 U.S. dollars.
Iraq, OPEC’s second-biggest country regarding oil production after Saudi Arabia, expressed willingness to abide by OPEC’s deal to curtail production.
