Real Estate Market Recovering In Diyala
The real estate market in Jalawla town, Diyala province witnessed an unprecedented rise for the first time in three years, following the re-deployment of federal forces.
"The real estate market in Jalawla, north-east of Baquba, has risen rapidly after the federal forces redeployed to the most important and sensitive centers in the area," said local council member Walhan Qaduri on Friday (December 1).
"The reason for the rise in real estate in Jalawla is due to the increasing demand from families returning from forced displacement," Qaduri added.
On October 17, the federal forces redeployed in Jalawla district after the withdrawal of the Peshmerga forces, according to an agreement between the two sides.
